TEACH THE TRUTH
KXP, short for Kids Experience, is designed to keep kids safe, teach God's Truth, make church fun, and partner with families. KXP consists of Backyard Buddies (birth - preK), Scouts (K - 2nd grade) and Navigators (3rd - 5th grade) and is the way our birth - 5th graders begin to discover what it means to know, love, and follow Christ.
If you have a child in Backyard Buddies, KXP introduces them to a Bible story and three simple truths - God Made Me, God Loves Me, Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever.
KXP for Scouts and Navigators explores what God wants to teach them through Bible-based curriculum, memory verses, and weekly Big Ideas.
Also, we provide weekly digital content (found below) to partner with our families to bring KXP into your home and keep your kids connected to their church family.
KEEP KIDS SAFE
Keeping your kids safe will always be our top priority. One of the best ways we can keep them safe is by having a secure check-in and check-out procedure. Here are a few tips to make sure the check-in and check-out process goes smoothly for your family:
Have your phone number ready. When you check in please use a phone number of a phone you have with you. We will use this same phone number to contact you in case of emergency or if your child needs assistance.
Don't forget to grab the security tag! After your child's name tag is printed, a security pick up tag will print out. The code on this sticker is unique to your child and your family. This code cannot be reprinted or generated again.
At pick up, present your security tag to the classroom KXP leader. Children will only be allowed to leave with an adult that presents the correct security tag. These tags are important to the safety of your child.
If you lose your tag, alert a Venture Kids team member. Security codes and stickers cannot reprinted, but our team has other ways to verify your identity and assure children leave with the adult that brought them to KXP.
Only adults are allowed to check in and check out children. For the safety of children, we do not allow children to check themselves or siblings in to KXP.
