How are rooming assignments determined?

Rooming assignments are determined by the information collected during registration and according to grade and gender. Our goal is to ensure each student is in a room with someone they know, but we also want to encourage all of our students to build new friendships and connect with students from other campuses. Please let us know if your student is inviting a friend who does not attend Venture Church, or if your student was invited by someone, so we can place them together.

Will there be adult supervision?

Yes. Your child’s safety at Turning Point Weekend is a top priority. At TPW, students will be divided into small groups consisting of 15-20 students. Each group will have 2 college-aged/adult leaders that will be responsible for supervising students and leading discussion times throughout the weekend. There will be a support team of additional adult leadership to help facilitate the weekend, as well. All adults present during the weekend are required to pass a background check before attending.
