Join us for At The Movies: Game Day! We will watch scenes from a few all-time sports-themed blockbuster favorites that our teaching pastors will use to illustrate practical Biblical truths. Selected with the entire family in mind, each film will be edited for length and content and shown during each of Venture’s 60-minute worship experiences. The movies are FREE and the popcorn, candy, and sodas are only $1. So load up your family and friends, don't forget to invite the neighbors next door, and join us for the best deal in town!

WHAT IS AT THE MOVIES?

“At the Movies” is a unique worship experience where our teaching pastors use some of Hollywood’s biggest films to illustrate biblical truths. To sum it up - you get to watch a blockbuster movie at church - for FREE! If you are joining us on a campus, you’ll want to visit the Coffee Bar to grab some popcorn, movie candy, and your favorite soft drink before heading into the auditorium to grab a seat. When the lights go down, you’ll enjoy an hour-long version of a family-friendly film that has been shortened for both length and content. To ensure you see as much of the film as possible during our 60-minute worship experiences, our worship team takes a break during “At the Movies,” but they’ll return on Sunday, July 31st for the launch of a new message series. During the movie, you’ll see a pastor pop in and out as he shares biblical truths that are both relevant and applicable to the issues we face in our culture today.

Since it began, “At the Movies” has become one of the biggest invite opportunities during the year. It creates a dynamic and easy opportunity to invite someone to church. After all, who can turn down a free movie? So whether this will be your first time to join us “At the Movies,” or you’ve never missed it before, invite a friend, and we can’t wait to see you “At the Movies!”

WHAT DO I WEAR?

No matter the season or the temperature outside, some are more comfortable “dressing up” for church while the opportunity to wear shorts and flip flops on a hot summer day might be the game-changing factor in another’s decision to go to church. At Venture, all preferences are welcomed, and the only dress code is to wear what is comfortable to you!

Here is what you need to know about your child's age group:

Backyard Buddies (birth - PreK) will offer regular programming during ALL “At the Movies” experiences.

Scouts (K - 3rd Grade) and Navigators (4th - 5th Grade) will NOT offer regular programming during “At the Movies.” We have carefully selected a movie that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The movie shown on our campuses will be edited for length and content.
